The role: Trader Assistant

Fortunatus Management is representing a Leading Hedge Fund for a Trader Assistant role.

Tasks: On a daily basis tasks would include sourcing prices, oversight of execution, supporting specific PMs / traders, managing risk, speaking to the street and booking trades. There is a high emphasis placed on someone who is dynamic, commercially aware and prioritises automating tasks at every opportunity, while running projects alongside the investment desk and quant teams.The hire will be encouraged to complete multiple training courses, CFA exams and actively improve his/her skills in VBA, SQL and Python.Candidates should be smart, current trade support/MO/TA professionals, from an IB or hedge fund, with a strong derivatives skill set. This role comes with a salary of up to £100k and the potential for a 100% bonus.
